Comments on my submission to the 2020 Florida Biennial by the Juror:

“A beautiful and heartfelt product of our pandemic times, Robert’s paintings are a moving tribute to a world in crisis. Imbued with melancholy and doubt, their subjects seem to survey the waters for answers. “Kiribati Island (Searching)” was a particularly riveting piece, and stunningly executed. As a solo project, I feel this would make a great gallery exhibition rather than for the art center.”
